This Katalox Light Media is designed for commercial and industrial water treatment systems requiring iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, and sediment reduction. It is commonly used in backwashing filtration systems, well water treatment applications, and reverse osmosis pretreatment systems where improved water quality and contaminant reduction are critical.
This media utilizes a manganese dioxide-coated zeolite structure to support catalytic oxidation and fine particle filtration without requiring continuous chemical regeneration. Its lightweight design reduces backwash water consumption while maintaining high filtration efficiency, long media life, and reliable contaminant removal performance in demanding water treatment environments.
